Cultural Resource Worker

Annin!! My name is Frank Daniels, Cultural Resource Worker for the Southern Manitoba First Nations Repatriation Program. As the cultural resource worker, it is my job to refer our clientele to the different Elders that have agreed to work with our program. By referral we mean, any questions or issues that Adoptees and their birth families may encounter, particularly cultural issues. These can be directed to the Elders that we work with. Some of the other activities that take place are things like; sweatlodge ceremonies for those who are interested in learning about the different ceremonies we as Indian people have. In the near future we will also be hosting arts and crafts classes for those interested in learning how to bead, make moccasins, hand drums etc.
